Grey Lynn Street & Access Guide
Grey Lynn is diverse, from busy main roads to quiet, leafy cul-de-sacs. Here is our approach to the area:
| Area / Street Type | Common Moving Challenge | Our Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Great North Road / Richmond Rd Borders | Heavy traffic and limited on-street parking for large trucks. | We schedule moves during off-peak hours and utilize specific loading zones or rear access where possible. |
| Leafy Residential Streets (e.g., Crummer Rd, Farrar St) | Low-hanging tree branches and narrow street parking. | We use agile, medium-sized trucks that fit comfortably without damaging trees or blocking neighbors. |
| Character Bungalows (Sloping Sections) | Long carries up or down steep paths to the front door. | We recommend adding extra manpower and using heavy-duty trolleys to safely transport bulky items on inclines. |
| Modern Townhouse Developments | Tight internal staircases and shared driveways (cross-leases). | Expert furniture disassembly and careful coordination with neighbors to ensure shared driveways remain clear. |
